IN NEED OF TLC. Platter won't always spin and sometimes stops. The tonearm microswitch has likely oxidized over the years and needs to be cleaned or replaced. That's the only issue this turntable's had in its 40 years, it's otherwise proven reliable. This is a repair a technician should be able to take care of.
At one time, I actually owned more than a dozen turntables. I’m letting go of this one because I’ve decided to stick with just a few favourites. And let’s be honest, who couldn’t use a little more space? 😃
Solid, entry-level option for a vintage turntable. Speed bang-on and excellent pitch stability at 33 and 45 rpm. Always sounded great whatever I put on it.
Fabulous high-quality tonearm that tracks like a laser - moves smoothly without friction and no play whatsoever.
Accepts P-mount cartridges. Tracking force is factory set and measures at 1.69 grams with the cartridge I have on it, a cheap & cheerful Sanyo Fisher MG66D cartridge with a Japanese-made conical stylus to get you going right away.
Front right foot is missing but turntable is levelled using a piece of rubber as a substitute, also included.
