Beautiful vintage handmade Indigenous-style Canadian soapstone carving by Aarktik Sculptures of an Eskimo sitting with his sled dog (Husky or Malamute) in the snow. Make is etched into the sculpture.
Date estimated 1990s.
Sculpture has a neat leather leash so that this frolicking, plucky Eskimo can run with his furry companion in the snow.
