To place a shipped order, please inquire, and if the item(s) are eligible, we will create an invoice with Interac payment details.

We DO NOT accept arrangements like the following:

- you send a certified cheque in an excess amount, then ask us to pay back part of it to a third party (e.g. your 'movers'). This is a common SCAM, as the cheque is fake and ends up bouncing. It's a variant of the age-old 'Gacillia Nut' web design scam and others like it, which involve stolen credit cards.

We are in Markham (L3P) near Highway 7 and 48. You're welcome to meet us in the area for an in-person pickup.

YES! You can meet us at a public place in Markham near Highway 7 and 48. Please indicate "Local Pickup" in checkout and you & we will arrange a place to do it.

Markham Classifieds & Electronics typically ships by UPS Ground within Canada where indicated.

Our 'Add to Cart' is currently ONLY configured for Local Pickup orders. If you need the item more urgently, or want the item shipped outside of Canada, please inquire for a quote. International shipping is available by UPS for most of the world.

While we are a 'local' store, over 2+ decades we've shipped dozens of items to customers coast-to-coast from Vancouver to Halifax; from Los Angeles to Buffalo; and as far as Europe, Asia, Africa, and Australia & more. Today, we continue to get out-of-province shipping orders from places as far out as Calgary and rural Québec.

If you're OUTSIDE of the GTA, and want something shipped to you, rest assured dozens of customers just like you have had their items shipped safe and sound by us.

Markham Classifieds & Electronics is a 'used goods' store except for a few brand new or sealed items. Some items are tested, others are not. We describe the condition in as much detail as possible so that what you see is what you get.

It's important that you know what you're buying! For electronic devices in particular, the functionality and features are described in as much detail as possible. For instance, a pre-2014 iPad may not connect to a modern WiFi connection. This does NOT mean it is broken or not working; it is incompatible with modern WiFi security protocols BY DESIGN.

To get Internet on an old iPad, you WILL need a WiFi router of similar vintage -- this is an absolute non-negotiable. Should you need one, we can add an Apple AirPort base station or similar router to your purchase, and you can connect it to your Internet modem. All associated routers are pre-tested for compatibility.

To avoid buyer's remorse, WE URGE YOU TO KNOW WHAT YOU'RE BUYING! Where possible, we accompany the item description with model numbers and year of manufacture. If you're wondering if the item meets your needs, you are welcome to research it as much as you need before buying.

We're happy to answer any questions you may have about the item when you purchase. Just remember...when you buy, you are accepting full responsibility for purchasing the item as described.

1. ALWAYS meet in public places or busy, well-lit areas with security cameras and plenty of foot traffic. In Markham, we have 2 designated meeting zones:

- Sherwood Plaza at Highway 7 and 48

- Our storage unit on Bullock Drive

For security, the exact address will be sent to you once a meeting is agreed to.

While some buyers favour Markville Mall parking areas during business hours and the Markham GO station, our availability is limited to 2-3 days in a week. That's why we meet at the above two locations only.

2. NEVER agree to common scams involving certified cheques where buyers ask you to refund excess amounts to third parties. The cheque will bounce.

3. Pay by cash or Interac e-transfers ONLY. AVOID arrangements involving wire transfers or payments to 'shipping companies' on the buyer's behalf.
